Job summary

Indicon Construction is seeking a site supervisor for road projects. You will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, and safety standards.

The role requires coordinating with contractors, surveyors, consultants, and project teams to keep milestones on track and productivity on target. You will monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure quality control with QA/QC while maintaining thorough site documentation and BOQ records.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of road construction and site execution.
• Good understanding of drawings, specifications, surveying, and construction methods.
• Strong site coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively in a site environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily road construction activities, including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, drainage, and related works.
• Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, machinery, and daily productivity.
• Conduct site measurements and maintain daily progress reports, quantity records, and site documentation.
• Ensure proper quality control and coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and testing.
• Monitor levels, alignment, gradients, compaction, and other technical aspects of road works.
• Ensure compliance with HSE/safety requirements and safe working practices at site.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager/Construction Manager for timely resolution.
• Assist in planning work schedules and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
• Check material availability and coordinate with stores/procurement teams as required.
• Support preparation of BOQ quantities, measurements, work completion records, and project reports.
