Specific Responsibilities: Operate CDL equipment throughout the country on local, state and interstate highways. Perform pre/post vehicle and equipment inspections, ensuring optimal performance. Communicate effectively with your team to ensure smooth daily operations. Work independently with minimal supervision once trained. Occasionally interact with inspectors, engineers, and DOT personnel. Prioritize safety by adhering to job-specific protocols and wearing necessary PPE. Assist with preventative maintenance on equipment daily. Display good housekeeping practices on equipment. Required Qualifications: Valid Class A or B CDL with an acceptable driving record. Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to maintain equipment. Knowledge of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation. Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Ability to lift 60 pounds or more and work long shifts (8-14 hours/day). Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. with overnight stays. Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and dust. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
