Specific Responsibilities:

  • Operate CDL equipment throughout the country on local, state and interstate highways.
  • Perform pre/post vehicle and equipment inspections, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with your team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision once trained.
  • Occasionally interact with inspectors, engineers, and DOT personnel.
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to job-specific protocols and wearing necessary PPE.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance on equipment daily.
  • Display good housekeeping practices on equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with an acceptable driving record.
  • Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to maintain equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds or more and work long shifts (8-14 hours/day).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. with overnight stays.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and dust.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
