IOC Company, L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our heavy road construction team. The role involves site prep, material handling, equipment operation under supervision, and maintaining a safe, clean work site.

You will assist skilled workers, follow safety protocols, and help ensure timely completion of projects on outdoor sites, with 10-hour days and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or general labor preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers and following safety protocols.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the worksite.
• Operate basic construction equipment under supervision (jackhammers, drills, compactors).
• Perform routine maintenance on construction equipment and tools to ensure good condition.
• Adhere to safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for the team.
• Provide support to skilled workers such as carpenters, masons, and machine operators as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the construction site and proper disposal of waste materials.
