Physical Requirements:

• Constant physical effort, including standing and sitting, is required during a regular work shift of at least 8 hours.
• Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and crouch as required.
• Frequently walk and climb on uneven surfaces and heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and carry at least 30 pounds frequently.
• Maintain constant alertness to multiple activities on the road construction site.

Work Environment:

Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, periodically exposing employees to high noise levels and dust associated with road construction. Employees work near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
