GFT in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking a CEI Inspector with FDOT experience to join our Construction Management and CEI group. The role covers Treasure Coast, Palm Beach, and Okeechobee counties, and requires a minimum of two years in CEI road and bridge construction.

Responsibilities include field observations, material testing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with plans and specs. The candidate should be able to lift 70 pounds, work nights and weekends, and hold CTQP and IMSA

Qualifications

• What you will bring: 2+ years progressive CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
• Safety-first mindset and strong written/listening/communication skills.
• CTQP and IMSA certifications or willing to obtain within one year.

Responsabilités

• Inspect CEI road and bridge construction to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Serve as daily inspector for observations, material testing, and documentation.
• Record quantities, develop pay estimates, and manage change orders.
• Maintain daily construction/inspection logs and monitor multiple work activities.
• Interpret plans and discuss deviations with contractors to ensure regulatory compliance.
