Job summary

Cencora in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a procurement analyst to assess large strategic accounts, ensure manufacturer compliance, and drive supplier and distribution center performance in a hybrid role.

You will partner with account managers and cross-functional teams to analyze data, negotiate deals, develop innovative solutions, and improve profitability while maintaining rigorous audit standards and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of directly related, progressively responsible experience.
• Broad training in business, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Large Strategic Accounts; forecasts, sales vs. plan and purchasing trends to maximize DSA compliance.
• Builds and maintains relationships with Large Strategic Accounts, Suppliers and other functional areas to improve performance and profitability.
• Develops new solutions to procurement challenges for strategic accounts relating to product procurement and supplier relations.
• Works with Large Strategic Accounts Manager on deals, rebates and promotions for suppliers and customers.
• Ability to resolve issues with guidance and oversight from manager.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Participates in strategic decisions to increase profitability.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Job Details

This is a Hybrid role, reporting to our Conshohocken, PA office weekly. This analyst is responsible for analyzing the existing business relationship with our large strategic accounts while maintaining customer compliance and ensuring manufacturer performance. Recommends and contributes to improve strategies in customer relations resulting in increased value for Cencora.

• Analyze Large Strategic Accounts; forecasts, sales vs. plan and purchasing trends, whether based on historical demand or new customer requirements to maximize Cencora Distribution Service Agreement (DSA) compliance.
• Builds and maintains relationships with Large Strategic Accounts, Suppliers and other functional areas in order to improve performance, buy side profitability, inventory productivity and overall team effectiveness.
• Develops new solutions to various tactical challenges strategic accounts face as it relates to procuring product and supplier and distribution center relations.
• Works with Large Strategic Accounts Manager on opportunities such as deals, rebates, allowances, new item purchases and promotional activities for suppliers and customers.
• Ability to resolve issues with guidance and oversight from manager.
• Ability to multi-task and perform varied functions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Participates in strategic decisions to find solutions to increase profitability.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Normally requires a minimum of one to three years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
