Pepper Source, Ltd. in Rogers, AR is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift. You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, pipes, and electrical systems in an industrial setting.

Shift hours are Sunday 9 PM–5:30 AM and Monday–Thursday 10 PM–6:30 AM; overtime is required based on production needs; pay is $23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

  • English language required: speak, read and write.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
  • Basic math and data entry skills for maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and discuss issues with supervisors.
  • Dismantle and replace defective parts.
  • Lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and related components.
  • Install, program or repair automated machinery and controllers.
  • Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate parts.
  • Operate welding/cutting equipment as needed.

Job Title: Maintenance

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

3rd Shift

Hours: Sunday 9PM to 5:30AM / Monday-Thursday 10PM to 6:30AM

Overtime is required based on production needs.

Pay: $23.50/Hour

Summary Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
  • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
  • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
