Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) processing plant in Danville, Indiana.

You will install, troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, including compressors and rotating equipment, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing performance analyses, and training others on proper operations.

Qualifications

Basic computer skills (MS Office, CMMS/Maintenance Software)
Reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams
Good verbal and written communication skills
Be available for emergency response after regular business hours
Live within a reasonable proximity to limit after hour call out response times
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company
May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties
Completion of any site specific technical training may be applicable

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical and auxiliary equipment at RNG facilities.
Overhaul compressors, rotating equipment, vessels, tanks, flare, engines, turbines, motors, and related components.
Provide training on proper operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Perform engine/compressor performance analysis.
Read and edit technical drawings to ensure components work within RNG systems.
Maintain safety and environmental compliance and report concerns.
Liaise with management on outages, PM schedules, and regulatory adherence.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports and paperwork.
Available for weekend and after-hours calls for repairs.
