Job summary

Amp Americas is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the final design and execution of RNG facilities, oversee engineering deliverables, and support commissioning and operations. The role requires coordinating Process, Mechanical, and external teams to ensure compliance with project specs and regulatory standards.

You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency across all project phases while partnering with project management, operations, and business development to deliver on ambitious

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred).
• 10+ years of process engineering and project execution experience, preferably with operations management background.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and deliver results.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Passion for delivering results and problem solving.
• Strong knowledge of energy engineering processes and vendor practices.

Responsibilities

• Be the key player in the engineering leadership team to deliver RNG assets safely and on time.
• Support on technical efforts to develop, optimize and run RNG facilities.
• Ensure quality of engineering design and deliverables meet project and regulatory requirements.
• Delegate engineering workflows across project development phases and interfaces.
• Establish design basis, heat and mass balance, process design, equipment selection and maintenance requirements.
• Review drawings, schedules, specifications and permits for compliance.
• Support cost estimates and justifications for new and existing facilities.
• Interface with multi-disciplinary teams to track KPIs and report trends.
• Assist operations staff with problem solving and troubleshooting in RNG production.
• Develop SOPs and training materials to improve field performance.
• Collaborate on constructability, operability and safety studies.
• Ensure timely deliverables and smooth interface among Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Operations.
• Recruit, train, and develop engineers to meet business needs.
