Job summary

California Bioenergy LLC (CalBio) is seeking a Staff Project Engineer to support the development, design, construction, commissioning, and operation of RNG and related infrastructure in California. This role reports to the Principal Project Engineer and requires close collaboration with internal teams, consultants, and vendors.

Based in Bakersfield, the Staff Project Engineer will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering and project experience.
• Experience with capital projects in renewable energy, biogas, or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design, analysis, and optimization of RNG and related infrastructure.
• Ensure deliverables comply with codes, safety requirements, and company specs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and field investigations.
• Manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverables throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during construction, startup, and commissioning.
