Job summary

HiredFirst seeks a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) for Perioperative Services on a contract basis in California. The role supports surgeries, maintains sterile field, and ensures patient safety across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

Responsibilities include managing OR flow, equipment, and documentation; rotating day schedule with 5 x 8 shifts, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 8:30-5:00 or 10:00-6:30, Monday to Friday; requires California RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS, and CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RNFA experience.
• Experience in spine, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries.
• At least 1 year full-time OR experience.
• Active RN license in California.
• BLS (AHA or ARC).
• ACLS & PALS.
• CNOR certification (preferred).
• Proof of insurance documentation required.
