Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Boston seeks a Process Development Scientist to join the mRNA development team. You will conduct IVT and purification experiments, perform analytical assays (CGE, HPLC, ELISA), and manage buffers and notebooks. The role emphasizes data handling and collaboration in a fast-paced lab.

Requirements include a relevant BS/MS with lab experience; familiarity with TFF, CGE, AKTA chromatography, HPLC, ELISA is preferred; on-site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry (or related field) with lab experience
• Experience with molecular biology and RNA biochemistry methods including IVT
• Experience with tangential flow filtration (TFF), capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), AKTA chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA
• Experience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks such as Benchling
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, planning, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Perform in vitro transcription (IVT) and purification (chromatography, tangential flow filtration) experiments
• Perform analytical methods including CGE, AKTA chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA
• Process data and provide summaries to team members and stakeholders
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions following SOPs
• Maintain updated lab notebook, order materials, maintain equipment, and assist in troubleshooting
• Uphold lab safety to the highest standards
