Petersburg Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare family, is seeking an RN Wound/Treatment Nurse in Petersburg, VA. You will deliver comprehensive wound care, supervise care plans, and collaborate with physicians to optimize resident outcomes.
Requires Virginia RN license; CPR is mandatory, ACLS preferred. Prior supervisory experience in long-term care is a plus. The role offers full-time benefits and a team-focused environment with opportunities for growth.
Qualificações
- Must possess a current RN license in Virginia.
- CPR certification is required; ACLS preferred.
- Prior healthcare experience is preferred.
- Experience in treatment nursing care is desirable.
- Supervisory experience in a long-term care setting is an advantage.
Responsabilidades
- Perform treatments, dressing changes and wound care per policy.
- Monthly gastric tube and Foley catheter care as assigned.
- Provide trach care and suctioning as needed.
- Document weekly treatment recommendations in nursing notes.
- Suggest treatment procedures or products to attending physicians.
- Re-order supplies from pharmacy or central supply as required.
