Job summary

St Joseph’s Health and Trinity Health are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with NY standards. You will utilize the Nursing Process to plan and supervise care, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting patients and families.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and NY licensure or eligibility, with ongoing renewal of BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of New York.
• Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process to plan, direct and supervise the care of patients.
• Provides direct patient care and involves families in care provision.
• Communicates patient outcomes to health team members in a timely manner.
• Supervises LPNs, RN aides and unit support staff.
• Participates in performance improvement and education opportunities.
