Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist to coordinate wound care therapy within the total nursing plan and lead collaborative care in the clinical setting.

The role requires a current RN license in Nevada, CPR certification, and two years of direct patient care experience; Wound Care Certification is preferred. The position offers comprehensive benefits and professional education opportunities.

Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist

coordinates wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients; participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Position reports to the Director of Wound Care.

• Education and Training: Provides documents or credentials of graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current Registered Nursing License for the state in which the employee is working. Certification from approved Wound Care Certification course is preferred. Has current CPR certification and maintains same.
• Experience: Two (2) years direct patient care experience required. Prefer experience in emergency care, critical care or ET nursing.
