We are seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team!

Participants in the Clinical Career Ladder are eligible for pay increases after successful completion of the Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert levels.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for assigned patients with wound care needs and their families. Provide education on wound, ostomy, and skin integrity issues for patients, families, and nursing staff. The care involves direct patient care along with delegation and supervision of nursing staff. Specific responsibilities include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise in the specialty.

Required Skills:

• Current, valid, and active RN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• At least one (1) year of wound care experience.
• Wound Care certification within 6 months of hire is preferred.

Additional Qualifications / Skills:

• Wound Care certification within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Experience or interest in wound care, ability to identify learning needs, and teach patients and families.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of professional standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Proficiency with computer software (Word, spreadsheets, databases, etc.).
• No illegal drug use or effects in the workplace.
