RN - Women's & MedSurg (Nights) - $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Women’s Services Department in Loudon, TN. This is a permanent, full-time position with a sign-on bonus of $20,000 for qualified applicants.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to patient needs and involve patients in their care.
  • Administer medications, collect specimens, and provide clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care accurately.
  • Monitor and communicate patient status to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
  • Educate patients and families according to age, culture, and circumstances.
  • Advocate for patient well-being, both physically and emotionally.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Licenses
  • Valid RN license in Tennessee or a compact state.
Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required at hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 6 months of hire
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) – Required within 6 months of hire

  • Must pass a Medication Administration Exam with at least 85% score.
