Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Women's Services Department. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assess patient conditions initially and ongoing
  • Develop and implement care plans involving patient participation
  • Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform treatments
  • Document patient care accurately
  • Monitor and communicate patient status to care team, physicians, patients, and families
  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Coordinate care across disciplines, including transfers and discharges
  • Educate patients and families tailored to their needs
  • Advocate for patient well-being
Qualifications
Minimum Education

Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licenses

RN license in Tennessee or a compact state required.

Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required within 6 months of hire
Skills

Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management skills. Must pass a Medication Administration Exam with at least 85%.
