Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact license
• Associate degree minimum; Bachelor degree preferred
• 1+ year RN Med Surg in acute hospital setting required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and Crisis Intervention within policy timeframes

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process
• Lead with ancillary staff and collaborate with care teams
• Provide high-quality patient care respecting age-specific needs
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and safety standards
• Report observations to physicians and charge nurse and document care
