Job description

RN Women's Health and Newborn Care; 7pm-7am; WKND Varies; 72 hours

Seeking a qualified RN/GN in Women's Health Care – L&D to provide population-specific care across all ages, from newborn to 102 years old.

Responsibilities include assessing, evaluating, and documenting patient care, communicating effectively, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing emergencies.

Provides care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, NICU, and gynecological patients, including preparing patients, monitoring fetal and maternal health, and performing procedures such as cesarean sections and resuscitations.

Ensures a sterile environment, maintains supplies, and educates patients and families.

Qualifications include a valid Missouri RN license, BLS certification, and successful hospital orientation. Additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring are preferred.

Strong teamwork, communication, judgment, and commitment to quality care are essential.

Work involves direct patient contact, potential exposure to infectious diseases, and may include irregular hours and emergency situations.
