Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a registered nurse to provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic needs of a designated patient group.

Requires ADN or Nursing Diploma, Nebraska or compact-state RN license, and BLS. PALS, ACLS, TNCC/ATCN variants may be required within set timeframes; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska or a compact state.
• BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program.
• PALS certification required (department dependent).
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer date (department dependent).
• TNCC or ATCN within one year of hire or transfer date (department dependent).
• Direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers.
• Care for a designated group of patients across varied environments including emergent and critical care.
