Job description

Will work every weekend only.

UP TO $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE.

Weekend Differential

Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am

Unit Description:

Surgical Trauma "3A" is a 33-bed unit, fast-paced med-surg telemetry unit focusing on adult post-operative and trauma patients. Nurse-patient ratios are: Days 5:1, Nights 6:1. The unit offers opportunities to develop critical thinking and clinical skills including:

• Head-to-toe assessments
• Reading and posting telemetry strips
• IV insertions
• Catheter, trach, and ostomy care
• Wound care
• Chest tubes

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment, meeting all state board requirements.
• Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements:
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
