G100, a Gastroenterology and Hepatology unit, cares for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases, including Crohn's disease, colitis, gastroparesis, gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatitis, liver failure, multi-organ failure, nausea, and sepsis. This RN role is part of Cleveland Clinic's Weekender Flex Program, requiring two 12-hour weekend shifts and one weekday 12-hour shift. Weekend shifts start at 7:00 pm on Fridays and end at 7:30 am on Mondays. Although working 36 hours weekly, employees are paid for 44 hours and receive full-time benefits. This schedule offers personal time during the week for family, errands, and relaxation.

Note: A caregiver works weekend days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Ideal candidates will:

• Provide direct nursing care
• Implement, monitor, and update care plans
• Document and communicate patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Follow physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs
• Educate patients and families

Minimum qualifications include:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure in the state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
• At least one year of current acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered)

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
