SHIFT TIME: 7am-7pm OR 7am-3pm, Days, WEEKEND ONLY!

ALL FULL-TIME NURSES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A $4,500 SIGN-ON BONUS

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Shift Supervisor / Relief Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the physical, psychosocial, and rehabilitation needs of the residents.

Essential Duties
  1. Perform various duties to provide quality nursing care to residents to maintain or attain the highest practical level of functioning and to coordinate total nursing care for the residents, including:
  2. Assess residents who have had an accident or incident resulting in injury or unusual events. Document findings as per Resident Care Manual Policy.
  3. Thoroughly investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property and notify appropriate parties as per policy.
  4. Make daily rounds in nursing care areas under supervision, evaluate overall unit performance, and address residents' needs and problems, implementing necessary changes.
  5. Delegate responsibilities to nursing personnel through work assignments for direct nursing and non-nursing care during the shift.
  6. Assist in assessing staffing levels and make recommendations for personnel adjustments to improve patient care and resource utilization.
  7. Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing personnel under direct supervision.
  8. Instruct nursing staff on new policies, procedures, and treatments for effective nursing care.
  9. Report the status of nursing personnel and supervisory matters to the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services daily.
