Seeking Registered Nurse WOW!

Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Days (9am-9pm)

Job Duties:

The RN will be responsible for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients. The Registered Nurse functions as a team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Emergency Department (ED) has 41 beds divided between two pods with 37 private rooms. A split-flow area near main triage provides care to lower acuity patients, varying from 5-8 patients, managed by 1-2 nurses and a mid-level provider. The ED treats over 160 patients daily, including cardiovascular, neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and psychiatric cases. It is recognized as a STEMI receiving center and a Primary Stroke Center by the American Heart Association. New Graduate RNs are welcome.

Position/Opportunity Highlights:

Work every weekend and receive PREMIUM PAY for WOW shifts.

Qualifications:

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• ACLS certification required (within 12 months of hire).
• PALS certification required (within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS certification required (within 10 weeks of hire).
