Job summary

The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) at Shepherd Center provides basic patient care within a Shared Governance model of nursing practice. You will work on a multidisciplinary team and advocate for patients, supporting their safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.

We offer diverse roles including ICU, med/surg, or outpatient clinics, with set or flexible schedules and on-site education to help meet re-licensure needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program from an accredited college or university.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Active Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Registered Nurse provides basic patient care in a Shared Governance nursing model.
• Interact with and contribute to professional development and image of unit staff.
• Work on multidisciplinary teams and advocate for patients.
• You will have the opportunity to build relationships with patients with an average stay of 51 days.

The Inpatient Registered Nurse “RN” provides basic care to patients, performing all job functions in an ethical manner and ensuring patient safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. This role interacts with and contributes to the professional development and image of all unit staff practicing in a Shared Governance model of nursing practice.
