Novant Health is seeking an RN with a BSN to serve as a VAD Coordinator. You will coordinate care for advanced heart failure patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care and providing direct patient and family education on VAD management.
The role requires a minimum of three years of clinical RN experience, current NC or compact state licensure, and ICU/cardiac background; CCRN is preferred. Monday–Friday, on-call, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Monday‑Friday 8a‑5p, on‑call. Location: New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The Coordinator works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD) team to coordinate and manage advanced heart failure patients who need or have an implanted VAD. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care to provide continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings, and for providing direct patient care including education of patients and families regarding advanced heart failure and VAD management.
