Job summary

Novant Health's Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD) Clinic is seeking a dedicated VAD Coordinator. This RN role guides patients through every stage of their VAD journey, coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings and providing essential education and support.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes, leveraging your ICU/Cardiac experience and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• RN with 3+ years of clinical RN experience, NC licensure.
• BSN preferred; RN licensure in NC or compact state.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and data skills.
• ICU/Cardiac experience required; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Educate patients and caregivers throughout the VAD journey.
• Serve as a key resource for patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

What We Offer

What You'll Do

Join a dedicated team transforming the lives of patients with advanced heart failure. As a VAD Coordinator, you will guide patients through every stage of their VAD journey, coordinating care across settings, providing education and support, and serving as a key resource for patients and families.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you'll coordinate care, educate patients and caregivers, and help achieve the best possible outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN.
• Experience: Minimum three years of clinical RN experience, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse in NC or compact state, required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Demonstrates interdisciplinary leadership skills, superior interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of computer database, data analysis and presentation skills.
• ICU / Cardiac experience is required
• CCRN Preferred
