Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem RN for IV Therapy at 80 Blossom Street. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years placing IVs, with ultrasound-guided IV experience preferred. VABC or CRNI certification or eligibility is preferred.

RN licensure in the state is required to provide safe infusion therapy and vascular access. The IV Therapy team delivers high-quality care, collaborating with colleagues to support patient safety, education, and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license (state).
• Two years IV placement experience; ultrasound-guided IV preferred.
• VABC or CRNI certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
