Mass General Brigham is seeking an RN for Vascular Access/IV at The General Hospital Corporation in Boston. The role focuses on infusion therapy and vascular access with emphasis on IV placement and patient care.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, at least 2 years IV placement experience, and Massachusetts RN license. Part-time, per diem schedule with competitive hourly pay and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years placing IVs.
• Massachusetts RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent nursing interventions related to infusion therapy and vascular access.
• Respond to vascular access needs including intraosseous insertions during rapid responses and codes.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
