Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Urgent Care setting.

The RN delivers nursing care across the patient life span, collaborates with physicians and staff, and supports occupational health services such as physicals and screenings in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The RN adheres to the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy, and the department’s standards, while pursuing ongoing professional development and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license to practice in PA.
• Successful completion of BLS.
• Experience in occupational medicine and urgent care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential medical care to urgent care and occupational health patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care per care plan.
• Support physician, contribute to performance improvement and unit goals.
• Manage staff education activities and participate in annual performance reviews.
• Coordinate patient care with the unit team and budget considerations.
