Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Unit Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance. You will lead the nursing team, coordinate care plans, and maintain a safe, efficient environment in collaboration with residents, families and surveyors.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree, 1-3 years of experience, and a current nursing license with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years in nursing supervision or a similar role.
• Licenses: Current, valid nursing license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the nursing unit to ensure consistent, high quality resident care.
• Supervises nursing staff while fostering accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Conducts daily resident rounds, identifies care needs, and addresses concerns promptly and effectively.
• Reports resident care issues to the Director of Health Services.
• Coordinates and contributes to individualized care plan development to support optimal resident outcomes.
• Participates in the nursing on call rotation and provides clinical guidance to staff as needed.
• Supports and contributes to staff performance evaluations, coaching, and ongoing competency development.
• Serves as a liaison with external surveyors and agencies.
• Promotes and models customer service excellence and nursing best practices.
• Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining readiness for surveys and audits.
