Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and manages clinical services for a nursing unit.
• Facilitates resolution of issues related to resident care including family concerns.
• Implements and evaluates nursing procedures and systems for unit programming.
• Performs nursing assessments and develops plans of care.
• Provides health education to residents and families.
• Participates in quality assurance activities.
• Completes required forms per policy and regulations.
• May assist DON to enhance clinical operations.
