ALIYA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Unit Manager - RN to oversee daily clinical operations of a post-acute mixed long-term care unit in Illinois. The role provides nursing leadership, ensures high-quality resident care, and supports staff development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, strong clinical knowledge, and experience in skilled nursing or long-term care, with ability to ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; post-acute/long-term care preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (PointClickCare preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the nursing unit.
• Provide leadership to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Ensure high-quality, resident-centered care per care plans.
• Monitor resident conditions and coordinate assessments and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in care plan meetings with interdisciplinary team.
• Coach and support nursing staff; address performance issues.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate post-acute services.
