Job summary

Dodge County is seeking a full-time, exempt Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead and develop nursing staff in a hospital/long-term care setting in Wisconsin. The role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care, coordinating MDS and care planning, and maintaining infection control standards.

Starting wage range is $40.98/hr to $45.16/hr, with a comprehensive benefits package and standard weekday hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing principles, standards and practices.
• Ability to supervise and train staff; provide coaching.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead in attracting, retaining, and developing nursing staff.
• Direct and supervise unit staff; provide training and evaluations.
• Oversee resident care, including medication administration and treatments.
• Coordinate MDS processes and care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Review charting and ensure accurate coding for care provided.
• Develop and update interdisciplinary care plans with goals for residents.
• Ensure infection control measures and outbreak reporting as needed.
• Prepare for inspections; assist with Plans of Correction and QA activities.
