Doctors Community is seeking a Unit Manager to join their team in Maryland. The role supports the Director of Nursing on a designated unit, ensuring high-quality care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, residents, families, and staff.

You will lead nursing and patient care operations, collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation teams, and manage staffing including overtime and agency usage to maintain safe, compliant, and effective care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Manage human resources in the unit, minimize overtime and agency use, recruit and orient staff, assess performance, and implement disciplinary action when needed.
