Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Greensburg, PA has an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for the full-time day shift. You will oversee nursing operations, supervise CNAs and LVNs, and partner with the DON/ADON to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN state license.
• BSN preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility. Minimum six months in rehab/restorative nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and applicable laws/regulations for nursing care facilities.
• Leadership and supervisory ability; ability to work harmoniously with staff.
• Post-offer background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON and ADON in planning, organizing, developing, and directing day-to-day Nursing Department operations.
• Supervise nursing care provided by CNAs, LPNs, and others under supervision.
• Comply with organizational policies and laws in supervision responsibilities.
• Interview, hire and train staff as needed.
• Plan, assign and direct work within the unit.
• Maintain PCC knowledge and use in daily tasks.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise to supervise all nursing activities in assigned units.
• Review and implement nursing procedures and systems.
• Promote residents' rights; assist residents in making informed decisions; treat residents with dignity and respect.
