Job summary

Rittenhouse Post Acute in Philadelphia seeks a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring safe, high-quality resident care. This full-time role reports to the Nursing leadership and integrates with Marquis Health Consulting Services support.

Requirements include PA RN license, BLS CPR, five years nursing experience and two years supervisory experience. The team values Passion, Respect, and Excellence while delivering person-centered care in a 19-bed setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
