Job summary

Bushwick Center in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a resident-focused unit. The role emphasizes leadership, policy implementation, and quality of care across the unit.

The ideal candidate holds a state RN license, has LTC setting experience, and strong communication and computer skills to mentor staff and coordinate with administration. We foster a warm, patient-centered environment within a 225-bed facility that is part of the Centers

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State RN License.
• 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred.
• 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice
• Maintain the standards of care for the unit
• Review Resident records & quality of care
• Monitor overall care & review individual Residents' cases
• Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
• Represent the unit's interests with the upper-level management

Requirements:
