Berlin Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a 128-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility, seeks an RN Unit Manager for the Subacute Unit. Lead nursing operations, ensure resident-centered care, and support clinical excellence.

This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, policy implementation, and staff mentorship to uphold safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in a nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for resident care on the assigned unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote optimal functioning.
• Ensure incident reporting and follow-up with the Administrator and DON.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by DON.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures as needed.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to unit nursing staff.
• Monitor compliance with care plans and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for resident-centered care.

Salary Range: 79k/yr-$100k/yr.

Responsibilities for Unit Manager:

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in New Jersey.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
