Job summary

Hopkins Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Unit Manager to lead licensed staff and STNAs on their unit, overseeing schedules, performance, and workflows. The role drives adherence to standards of care and fosters a team-based care approach in a skilled nursing setting.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license with SNF experience and at least 1 year of managerial work, supporting ongoing training and unit performance while coordinating with clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State Of Ohio.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• At least 1 year of managerial experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to Nurses and STNA's.
• Assist with education and training of staff.
• Monitor unit for resident/patient quality of care.
• Apply evidence-based healthcare practices and nursing standards.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents/patients, friends and family.
• Maintains documentation of resident/patient care services by auditing records.
• Maintains nursing guidelines by adhering to facility policies and procedures.
