Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA seeks a Team Leader to provide overall leadership and management of the unit nursing staff, coordinate clinical activities, and ensure quality resident care with 24-hour accountability to the Director of Nursing.

This role requires Georgia RN licensure, an Associate Degree, and at least two years of nursing experience with one year in a leadership capacity; LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia.
• Associate Degree.
• Two years of nursing experience with at least one year in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Ensures clinical staff uses appropriate techniques when giving patient care.
• Provides updates to staff on policy and procedures changes of the facility.
• Makes daily rounds and talks with staff and residents.
• Organizes/coordinates/monitors and evaluates care of residents in the facility.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained on the unit.
• Accompanies physicians on rounds to answer questions and receive instructions.
