Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial in Lodi, CA is seeking a unit-based leader to collaborate with the Nurse Manager, physicians, and staff to ensure cost-effective, high-quality patient care with a focus on safety and patient experience.

The role requires a RN license in the state, a BSN, supervisory experience, and BLS/NRP certifications. The position offers day shift coverage with a 12-hour shift pattern and opportunities for growth within a faith-based, nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Five years' technical experience: Preferred
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Preferred
• Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership in development and provision of clinical services.
• Supervises unit personnel and coordinates conferences with health team members, patients and families.
• Directs care plans for optimal patient care and participates in patient care as needed.
• Ensures patient safety, quality of care, and patient/family satisfaction across the unit.
• Manages staffing based on patient acuity and needs, and oversees schedule adjustments.
