Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the KH Miamisburg location. This full-time night shift role emphasizes the use of the nursing process, collaboration with health care providers, and a commitment to safe patient care.

The RN will be accountable for ongoing professional development, and for practicing within the scope defined by law, while supporting performance and practice improvement activities across the Kettering Health Network.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• BSN preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• BLS certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS as determined by unit scope.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide care in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Be accountable for own professional development and practice within legal scope.
• Act as a patient advocate to ensure safe care, including delegation and performance improvement involvement.
• Deliver nursing care in alignment with Kettering Health Network's missions and values.

Qualifications

Applicants Must Have:

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
• BLS certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
