Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the RN Triage team within the Family Medicine Residency Program. You will assess patient concerns via telephone and electronic communications, collaborate with providers and staff, and help ensure patients receive appropriate care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The RN will perform clinical nursing assessments, advocate for patients, provide education, and may participate in patient case management and specialized procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN license.
• BLS certification required or obtained within first month of employment.
• Proven multitask, problem-solving and strong teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical nursing assessments and act as patient care advocate.
• Provide support, counseling and education to patients.
• Perform patient case management and/or specialized procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and ancillary services; may float to other UFHP practices.
