Job summary

Hospice Home Care, an affiliate of Adoration Health, is seeking a compassionate Hospice Triage Registered Nurse for the Little Rock, AR area. This full-time night shift (Tue, Wed, Thu 7 p.m.–7 a.m.) offers after-hours triage, scheduling, and coordination of care with families, doctors, and on-call staff.

You will answer calls after hours, assess needs, communicate care orders, arrange visits, and ensure compliance with state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure in the operating state.
• 1 year hospice nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in hospice or similar setting preferred.
• Prior triage experience preferred.
• Nursing Compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Answer hospice calls during nights, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
• Schedule nurse visits, manage admissions, and dispatch on-call staff.
• Talk with patients and caregivers to assess needs over the phone.
• Communicate with doctors about patient updates and orders as needed.
• Give instructions per each patient's care plan.
• Coordinate after-hours needs such as equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Work with facility staff to support patients during off-hours.
• Document all calls and care updates clearly and accurately.
• Ensure all care and procedures follow state and federal rules.

• Help schedule nurse visits, handle emergency patient admissions, and dispatch on-call staff.
• Talk with patients and caregivers to assess needs and provide support over the phone.
• Communicate with doctors about patient updates and get new care orders if needed.
• Give instructions and guidance based on each patient's care plan.
• Coordinate after-hours needs such as equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Work with facility staff to support their patients during off-hours.
• Document all calls, care updates, and decisions clearly and accurately.
