Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) for the Ortho service line at our Elmhurst and Lombard locations. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with varying office hours and some travel to other sites.

You will perform inbound and outbound triage by phone, educate patients, and coordinate glucose monitoring, testing, and referrals while maintaining excellent patient relationships. Qualified candidates will hold Illinois RN licensure and AHA CPR certification; BSN is

• Current CPR Certification (AHA).
• Office RN and BSN preferred.
• Self-starter capable of handling high-stress periods.
• Able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 40 lbs.

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.15 - $54.48 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Ortho
• Location: 1200 S York St, Elmhurst and 130 S Main St, Lombard, IL
• Full Time: 40 hours / week
• Office Hours: Varies Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Travel Required: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

What you will do:

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities. The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention. Duties include: phone triage, patient education and continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization and referrals, clean and stock exam rooms.

What you will need:

• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
• Office RN and BSN preferred
• Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
