Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 8 Tower Med-Surg unit, covering Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and General Surgery. Schedule is 2 days per week from 07:00 to 19:30 with every other weekend and three holidays annually.

The unit offers leadership opportunities and a Magnet-designated culture within a large health system. The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN license in Illinois, BLS certification,

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited nursing program.
RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
One year or more of inpatient RN experience required.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
