Middle Park Health in Granby, CO, is seeking a trauma registry RN to document and track records, maintain the trauma registry, and coordinate community educational activities for a Level IV trauma designation.

You will support the trauma program with audits, activation protocols, and logs for ER patients while training new staff and ensuring compliance with state trauma guidelines. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualificações

• Associate or Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing with unrestricted RN license in Colorado.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency, critical care, or trauma nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certification. PALS or ENPC Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Active involvement in the state trauma system and maintain compliance with state guidelines.
• Participation in audits for traumatic or other deaths and maintenance of trauma registry data.
• Define and document trauma team activation protocols including ground and air transfers.
• Coordinate management of central logs for each ER patient.
• Document minutes for Trauma Committee meetings and attend RETAC meetings.
• Prepare notebooks for Level IV trauma designation renewal requirements.
• Provide trauma orientation and training for new employees.

Life-in-the-mountains, perks of a full-time position with Middle Park Health, a Critical Access Hospital, Level IV Trauma Center:
Middle Park Health (MPH) is a successful rural health system located in the high Rockies 1 1/2 hour west of Denver, CO with seven locations in beautiful Grand and Jackson counties where we have an abundance of year-round outdoor recreational activities. As a Level 4 Trauma hospital, MPH provides a range of services, including Emergency and Surgical Services, Rural Health Clinics, Rehabilitation Services Clinics, a Wellness Center, and an Assisted Living Facility.

Position Purpose:

Provides documentation of Trauma System by reviewing and tracking appropriate records, maintenance of trauma registry, and coordinates community educational activities.

• Active involvement in the state trauma system. Maintain compliance with state guidelines.
• Participation in audits for traumatic or other deaths. Maintenance of the trauma registry data collection
• Provides definition and documentation of trauma team activation protocols to include activation of ground ambulances and flight transfers.
• Coordinates management of a central logs on each ER patient.
• Documents minutes for Trauma Committee meetings.Attends RETAC meetings.
• Provides preparation of a notebook with requirements for application for renewal of Level IV trauma designation.
• Provides Trauma orientation and training for new employees.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing with unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency, critical care, or trauma nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certification. PALS or ENPC Certification preferred
• Strong computer skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and trauma registry software.

Status: Full-Time

Location: Granby, CO

Compensation: $38.00 - $60.87 Depending on years related experience. Perm FT positions receive $10,000 Sign-on bonus + $430.00 living stipendfor residents of Grand, Summit or Jackson county.
